American Heart Association

This week, we had the privilege of serving quite a few instrumental supporters of the American Heart Association of Fayette County along with some of the medical community who are working hard everyday to save the lives of our loved ones who suffer from heart disease.

We had a great time around the pool - the music was live and entertaining, the conversation was interesting and the night couldn't have been more beautiful.  Thank you to everyone who attended - especially those of you who went out of your way to let us know how much you enjoyed the food!

Below are pics of a few of the menu items:

This one is an Heirloom Tomato Aroncini filled with Mozarella and topped with Fresh Pesto & Edible Flowers - if you don't know what an Aroncini is, it's simply a ball of risotto that is fried and tastes absolutely delicious.

This is a Roasted Strawberry Crostini along with a homemade Ricotta and Honey.  It was crispy, fresh & sweet.

This is one of our Clean Slate Servers (Rachel) ready to explain these 2 dishes to our dinner guests.

Summer is a great time to serve summer rolls.  These were filled with crispy veggies and asian flavors and were one of the (3) vegetarian dishes available at this event.

And this is that same vegetarian summer roll next to the Maryland Blue Crab Cakes with Garlic Aioli and Pickled Onion.  These were the first to go!

Thank you again to all who attended and continue to support the American Heart Association.  Hope to see you all again soon!
